Sydney Frontrunners - Gay and Lesbian Running Club - Recruiting NOW!
Made any New Year resolutions to be fitter and healthier in 2016?
Sydney Frontrunners, the gay and lesbian running group, have a 4km walk at 8am and a 4km jog at 8.30am every Saturday. These are relaxed and social runs and ideal for anyone just starting out.
For more experienced runners there’s a 12K run at 7.30am or an 8K at 8.00am. Every run will be led by an experienced runner to make sure you finish.
All runs/walks commence from the centre of Centennial Park at the kiosk next to the duck ponds on Parkes Drive. They finish in the same spot where you can enjoy a coffee and food before socialising.
They are really keen to get more women involved so come along any Saturday morning or email sydneyopenhouse@yahoo.com.au

Sydney Town Hall GLBTI Christmas service on Christmas Eve - all welcome and it's free!
Might I again commend the Christmas service at the Sydney Town Hall on Christmas eve. The service/show is free and put on by the gay church (Metropolitan Community Church). It is very atheistic, agnostic and other religions-friendly. This year's guest speaker is Cate McGregor. It’s absolutely worth it for the re-working of traditional carols into non-gender specific, non-heteronormative texts. Even if they don’t quite scan.
